Job description

The Certified Athletic Trainer will work directly with student athletes at local high schools and colleges as well as support at sporting events. In addition to educating athletes on injury prevention, other duties include assessing, treating, and providing rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries. The Certified Athletic Trainer will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and maintain accurate records and reports.

Schedule

  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Hours vary between clinic and sporting events (high school and college, and semi-pro teams) Athletic coverage during the afternoon, evening, and some weekend events.

  • Benefits: Starting pay begins at $52,416.00 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $52,416.00 – $78,644.80 per year Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field required; master’s degree preferred Licensed as an Athletic Trainer with MN Board of Medical Practice. 2+ years of experience in athletic training setting preferred Valid driver's license in good standing required To be eligible for the relocation bonus you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away and relocate to within 30 miles of primary work location within 120 days.
