  • Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented PRN Teacher! MUST be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientation: MONDAY
  • FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM) Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. Position Summary

The teacher is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs to all assigned, hospitalized children and adolescents. The teacher is directly responsible for regular communication to school personnel and attending physicians regarding assignments, test results, special education needs, and behavioral reports, within the hospital’s educational setting. The teacher is responsible for administering, and reporting approved testing instruments ordered by attending physicians or given by the classroom teacher to affected personnel.
