Practice for this role

About the role

Deliver evidence-based speech and language services to K-12 students through a hybrid model of remote telehealth and monthly on-site intensives. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.

Why thrive therapies

SLPs are the backbone of school-based healthcare. You're managing complex caseloads, navigating documentation systems, and fighting for adequate planning time while delivering evidence-based care. At Thrive, we eliminate the administrative burden so you can focus on what you love: helping students communicate.

We partner with school districts that value your professional autonomy and provide compensation packages that reflect your master's-level expertise. Our SLPs report more planning time, transparent caseload caps aligned with ASHA standards, and direct access to school leadership for advocacy.

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students K–12 with language disorders, articulation delays, fluency concerns, voice disorders, and complex communication needs. You collaborate with special education teams, general educators, parents, and related services providers to create inclusive, data-driven intervention plans.

Special Position Structure: The Hybrid Mobile Clinic Model

At Thrive, we are completely redefining the provider experience through our premium, innovative Mobile Clinic Model. This position is designed to grant our clinicians the ultimate balance of professional autonomy and lifestyle freedom:

95% Remote Telehealth Liberty: For 28 days out of the month, you operate completely from the comfort of your own home office running our cutting-edge digital clinical platforms.

The 2-Day Intensive Travel Impact: Just one time per month, you will travel to Cocke County for two back-to-back days of localized intensive therapy. This requires only one single overnight stay per month, and our corporate team completely comps and covers 100% of your travel, flights, lodging, and local expenses.
