About the Role

Clarvida is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to support Pre-K–12 students who need additional emotional and behavioral support to succeed in school. In this role, you will partner closely with Clinicians and Special Education Teachers to help students build skills using evidence-based, strength-focused approaches and applied behavior analysis. You may work in day treatment classrooms, local schools, or community-based educational settings. The goal of this role is to help children and adolescents develop the tools and confidence needed to successfully return to and thrive in their local school environments. Clarvida provides strong supervision, ongoing training, and access to BCBA supervision to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities

● Support Pre-K–12 students with emotional and behavioral needs ● Implement behavior support strategies using evidence-based and strength-based approaches ● Collaborate with Clinicians and Special Education Teachers ● Support students in day treatment classrooms, schools, or community settings ● Assist students in building skills needed for success in school environments ● Promote positive behavior, engagement, and emotional regulation ● Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation ● Participate in supervision, training, and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor’s Degree in any field or 90 credit hours in a Social, Behavioral, or Health Services–related field ● Eligibility for Ed Tech III Certification ● Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) approval, including fingerprinting Compensation & Benefits Full-Time Employees ● $22.50 per hour + Incentive of $2.50 per hour ● $100 Welcome Back Bonus ● $750 Stay On Bonus ● Weekday schedule only (8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:30 AM–3:30 PM) ● No weekends ● Year-round schedule aligned with Maine school holidays ● BCBA supervision available ● Paid vacation days that increase with tenure ● Separate sick leave that rolls over annually ● Up to 10 paid holidays
