Job DescriptionWe seek experienced teacher assistants with DCF staff credential required by DCF (ages 2.5-7) and with experience.The assistant will work with school team on caring for children and educational programming, etc.S/he will provide quality and child directed education to children within small teacher /child ratios.The position can be full time, part time, annual (which includes summer program); but we seek a minimum of 25-30QualificationsWe will facilitate certifications and trainings based on the needs of the applicant.BILINGUAL (English-Spanish language) a plus!Requirements:DCF staff certificate required to work with preschool aged children, CPR certificate, Level 2 fingerprintsAbility to work well with families and other team members.Montessori certification or ability to train and get certified-immediately.Complete understanding and ability to implement all regulatory processes.Participate in parent and staff meetings pertaining to programs you serve.Participation in programmatic planning for summer programs.Experience as a Montessori teacher assistant is a plus!Additional InformationWe will offer full training as needed and support and mentorship leaderships.
We are offering both full time and part time positions and can be hired as a consultant or employee with benefits.

The salary range will be dependent on acceptance of a full-time position with paid 40 hrs and benefits; versus if you are only seeking part time.
Candidates must possess a DCF staff certificate, CPR certification, and Level 2 fingerprints. Proficiency in English is required, with Montessori certification or the ability to obtain it immediately.
