Support our campus offices with all items including attendance and substituting in various classrooms as needed. School year August 2025 - May 2026.
Essential Functions
Teach classes as assigned and following the lesson plans from the teacher when subbing in classrooms Implement pre-prepared lesson plans provided by the teacher Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education Know the procedures for dealing with emergency situations. Provide a summary of the day's activities and student progress for the teacher Inform the administration in a timely manner if unable to fulfill any duty assigned
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma and relevant coursework in education or experience in related field. Bachelor's degree preferred Experience as teacher or substitute preferred Reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ Cooperate with the HCS Administration in implementing all policies, procedures and directives governing the operation of the school Comply with all Hope Christian School policies and procedures. Strong classroom management skills that enforce school rules and policies and maintain a positive and orderly learning environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work professionally with students and parents Good communication skills and the ability to deal professionally with students and parents Hope Christian School employs Christians who feel called of God to serve in the ministry of educating children based on Biblical standards.
