Ensures the safety of the children in the program at all times. Responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities, and free play. Ensures that both JCPRD and KDHE guidelines are followed. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized program. Effectively communicate with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers. Must Exhibit Initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted. Display professionalism always. Provide excellent customer service. Attend all required in-service trainings and meetings. Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director Salary: 14.00 per hour Locations are at various elementary schools in the Gardner School District.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent, with some experience working with children. A KBI background check is required, and one year of experience in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.
