Salary Range

Contracted; $35.00 - $50.00 per hour – Dependent on Education Level Projected Start Date: August 2026 (fall semester runs 8/24/26-12/12/26) & January 2027 (spring semester runs 01/11/27 -05/08/27) Responsibilities: EMCC is seeking adjunct clinical nursing instructors (approximately 16 - 18 hours/week for up to 16 weeks per semester) for the Bangor campus. Specific areas of need are Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Medical-Surgical clinical instructors. Responsibilities include supervising and instructing associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Clinical instructors are responsible for assigning patients who meet the educational and clinical experience requirements. Clinical instructors plan pre- and post-conferences and provide regular feedback to students for performance improvement and review. Final clinical evaluations are the responsibility of the clinical faculty.

Minimum Qualifications

BSN (Master’s degree in nursing preferred) Current Maine RN licensure Medical / Surgical experience required Clinical Experience in a Related Discipline to the area of the instructor position CPR Certification Application Procedure: Initial review of applications will begin on June 20th, 2026, and will continue until the position(s) are filled.
