Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Youth Tennis Instructor to join our team. As a part-time instructor, you will play a vital role in providing engaging and high-quality tennis instruction to children of various age groups. This is an excellent opportunity to share your love for tennis, mentor young players, and contribute to their growth and development in a fun and supportive environment.

Regional Details Our programs rotate seasonally to use the best facilities in the area. This position covers our North Cluster, including:

Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley. Assignment locations vary by season. Reliable transportation to all cities in this cluster is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver tennis lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels Teach fundamental tennis techniques, strategies, and rules while promoting sportsmanship and fair play Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment Organize and lead structured practice sessions, drills, and interactive games to enhance skill development Provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to help players improve their technique and performance Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with parents/guardians regarding program updates and player progress Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules and optimize program effectiveness

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching tennis to youth Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young players Enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for promoting their physical and personal development Reliable, responsible, and punctual, with the ability to effectively manage a group of young athletes CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on program needs

Preferred Qualifications

USPTA or PTR certification Experience playing competitive tennis at the high school, college, or professional level Experience organizing and conducting tennis camps or workshops
