The SLP conducts speech and language evaluations and provides individual and group therapy for preschool students with autism. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to integrate communication goals into classroom routines and ensure IEP compliance.

Are you a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who believes that young children can meet their fullest potential when they feel seen, heard, valued, and understood?
Have you been searching for the right workplace in which to build your long-term career, where your skills will help autistic and neurodivergent students express themselves - and you, too, can shine?
As a Speech-Language Pathologist for our preschool-aged students, you will do more than provide comprehensive speech and language assessment, therapeutic intervention, and consultation services. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to propel children toward a successful journey ahead - building their feelings of self-worth as they discover how to best express their ideas, needs, and wishes. And by partnering with educators, families, and related service providers, you’ll give each child the opportunity to have an entire team of people who understand how to generalize skills in various settings.
Although a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, our clinicians are afforded a strong degree of professional autonomy, with decision-making guided by best practices, evidence-based interventions, and the best interests of students. We’ll provide you with therapy resources and supports, including assessment materials, AAC supports, assistive technology, curriculum resources, and professional development as needed.
This is a chance to do purpose‑driven work for an organization that aligns with the values which probably inspired you to enter this profession in the first place. Here, you can turn your compassion into action and make a profoundly meaningful impact.
And as part of our team at Anderson, you will also have the chance to flourish - both in and out of the workplace. Ours is an agency that prioritizes a work-life balance, with limited expectations outside of normal work hours, and an ongoing effort made to protect your personal time. In addition, robust benefits, generous time off, retirement plans with employer contributions, and career advancement pathways await; many come to Anderson for an opportunity and stay for decades!
To actively support Anderson’s mission by promoting and enhancing the quality of life (QofL) of the individuals we serve through thoughtful, comprehensive, and person-centered practices.
