Join a dedicated team committed to empowering individuals with diabetes to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. The Inpatient Diabetes Education Department provides comprehensive support and education for patients managing diabetes. Our certified diabetes care and education specialists (CDCEs) offer personalized counseling, lifestyle modification strategies, and hands-on training to help individuals understand their condition and effectively manage blood sugar levels.

In this role, you will

  • Provide resources and guidance on healthy eating, exercise, medication management, and blood glucose monitoring.
  • Empower patients to make informed decisions and prevent complications through ongoing education and support.
  • Manage and adjust diabetes treatment plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to maintain safe and effective glycemic control in hospitalized patients
  • Serve as an expert in diabetes technology, assisting patients and healthcare providers with diabetes sensors and insulin pumps.
