Clinical Supervisor: Non-Exempt – Hourly

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing direct and indirect behavioral intervention and consultation to

consumers, family, and other stakeholders. This position is responsible for guiding treatment by developing

a treatment plan, monitoring progress on goals, intervening directly with a consumer, and developing

programs, as appropriate.

  • Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Leads and directs individualized treatment By adhering to applicable county, state and

federal standard regulations when developing an individualized treatment plan, individual

service plan, and/or treatment goals for consumers; programming and data analysis in order

  • to monitor consumer progress

Provides treatment of the whole person By providing service and supervision in collaboration

with all team members involved with the consumer, and with the understanding that treatment

of the whole person is crucial

Consults with all members of the treatment team to ensure plan participation By training and

consulting with all members of the treatment team to ensure full understanding of purpose

objectives, methods, and documentation of the treatment plan, behavioral support plan and/or

  • individual service plan.
  • Monitors individualized consumer-drive data to address consumer needs By completing

on-going analysis and evaluation of efficacy of behavioral treatment goals to address

consumer’s current need and adjust plans, as necessary, and regularly communicate updates

  • to required members of the treatment team

Supervises response to emergency/crisis situations with team members and consumers By

committing to ensuring the safety of the consumer, and the proper utilization of de-escalation

skills, when needed

Participates in required meetings, evaluations, supervision and trainings By collaborating

with all members of the treatment team and participating, when necessary, in all required meetings,

assessments, evaluations, trainings and supervision, per agreement with supervisor

Completes all required clinical documentation By completing all required

documentation related to provision of treatment, as outlined in program requirements and

provider policy

Maintains assigned, planned schedule By following program guidelines to ensure

regular service provision and maintenance of caseload, per agreement with program

  • supervisor

Maintains a commitment to professional development By participating in on-going supervision,

training, and department and team meetings, as outlined by policies and procedures

Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures By interacting

professionally, ethically, and respectfully with consumers, other team members – including family

  • Behavior Support Specialist

Master’s Degree with 50% or more of ABA course work, if degree is not in one of the above

fields

At least 1 year of experience in either a CASSP service system or employed by a licensed

mental health services agency or subcontracted agency. Or completed training in conducting

and using a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), and in positive behavioral support.

Training must be provided by the Bureau of Autism Services, or an accredited college or

university.
