The role involves serving as a Case Manager for IEPs and providing direct learning support instruction to K-12 students. The candidate will collaborate with the Special Education Department and Academic Team within a virtual cyber school environment.
A PA Teaching certification in Special Education K-12 is required. Candidates must also provide necessary PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI clearances, and Act 168 forms.
CPDLF has an opening on our Academic Team! The position is for a Full Time Special Education Case Manager and Instructor, K-12 Special Education certificate preferred. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for being the Case Manager for IEPs, provide Direct Instruction (Learning Support), and be a contributing member of our Special Education Department as well as our Academic Team. Compensation is based on experience, level of education, and certifications.
CPDLF is a 24/7 asynchronous K to 12 PA cyber school that serves learners and families across the state of PA. Learners have access to their learning platforms at all times and are encouraged to take ownership of their learning. Our main office is located in Altoona, PA and we have Drop In Learning Centers in the Altoona Logan Valley Mall and in Stroudsburg, PA.
CPDLF will provide professional learning for the virtual environment as well as training on how to complete the job duties and responsibilities.
Candidates selected for hiring will need to have all of their paperwork, clearances, and other new hire tasks completed immediately upon hiring. Acceptable PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Clearances, and Act 168 forms required to be hired. PA Teaching certification with Special Education K-12 required.
