Requires a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy, and a valid professional license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT). Must be bilingual in Spanish and English and possess a valid driver's license.

The Multi-Systemic Therapy Clinician will provide community-based treatment for children ages 12-17 struggling with delinquent behaviors. This individual will work with the youth and their family to identify strengths and challenges in the school, home, community and other systems involved in the adolescent’s life. In addition, the Therapist will emphasize behavior change in the youth’s natural ecology by developing weekly treatment goals with the family. The Therapist will be part of a clinical team including the supervisor, Team Consultant, Agency Psychiatrist and other Therapists. Model specific training will be provided to all therapists, as well as weekly supervision for ongoing case conceptualization and support with treatment goals. Provide comprehensive MST treatment to each family that is individualized and family oriented. Collaborate with the family in developing an enduring social support network in the natural environment. Have MST therapist provide a range of goal-educated services to each client and family. Submit a monthly written progress report to the referring provider. Discuss recommendation of transition from one department to the next step with referring provider. Conduct a termination interview with the family to summarize the progress made during treatment.
Master’s degree in social work, counseling and/or Marriage and Family Therapy – Required Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/ LMSW, LPC-A, or LMFT-A – Required Valid driver’s license - Required Able to speak Spanish and English (to communicate with clients and their family members) - Required Minimum of 2 years’ experience with individual and family counseling – Preferred but not Required
