The Assistant Teacher supports daily classroom operations by implementing High Scope learning experiences and ensuring adherence to State Licensing Standards. Key duties include lesson planning, maintaining child records, and collaborating with lead teachers and parents to support child development.
Candidates must possess a CDA, an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or have completed at least one child development course. One year of preschool teaching experience and familiarity with the High Scope approach are preferred.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to be physical and capable of successfully managing an early learning environment. The employee is frequently required to sit and/or stand for 8 hours or more. Staff must have the ability to reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
