Develop and implement individualized, play-based treatment plans for pediatric patients while monitoring progress and modifying goals. Provide expert education to caregivers and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care.
Requires a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid New Jersey state license. Prior experience in pediatric OT and proficiency in administering standardized assessments are preferred.

We are looking for an amazing occupational therapist (Part-time) 2 Locations: Basking Ridge and Chatham, NJ Flexible start date and scheduling Pay range: $40-$48 hourly depending on years of experience Key Responsibilities: Daily treatment sessions targeting all goal areas Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs, considering age, developmental stage and health conditions Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques Complete all necessary evaluations Regularly assess progress, monitor treatment outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed Create and monitor home programming Incorporate play-based approaches to engage and teach children Completion of daily documentation Provide expert education and coaching to parents and caregivers Conduct clinical collaborations Commit to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of occupational therapy Complete all documentation daily Implement novel programming with therapeutic team Provide coverage sessions
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Current and valid NJ state licensure or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required Prior Pediatric OT experience preferred Proficiency in administering standardized assessments Experience with various pediatric conditions Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Daily treatment sessions targeting all goal areas Completion of daily notes within 24 hours Replying to emails within 24 hours of receipt Establishing organization system to track and conduct quarterly consultations with support from co-treating therapist or mentor Conducting quarterly consults Establishing organization system to track and conduct reassessments Proficiency in administration of standardized assessments (PDMS, WOLD, Beery, PRN, QNST, BOT, TVPS, BRIEF, SP, Clinical Observations, HELP), interpretation of scores, and subsequent summary report clinician’s responsibility to seek out learning opportunities for all administration/interpretation of said assessments Conducting clinical collaborations as clinically necessary 1-2 annual projects for the site; examples: lead role in summer programming; run social media account, learn novel assessment and present to staff including administration, interpretation, write up for IE/RA. To be determined by clinic manager based on site need Establish and maintain communication system with co-treating therapist regarding pertinent/relevant case details; including, but not limited to: clinical feedback from session, parent feedback, upcoming transitions/life events, etc. Participation in family meetings, with shared presentation (to be determined and agreed upon with co-treating therapist) Offer any available session times (e.g. session times that were canceled) within typical treating window to colleagues/other clients from waitlist While building to a full-time caseload, will provide coverage for any therapist’s scheduled PTO (given 2-week or more notice) Present any novel clinical information/strategies/theories learned in CEU courses Monthly clinical support for forward thinking/progression of cases to next level Implement up to 3 annual programs and/or groups: novel, past or on-going (e.g. social skills, handwriting, summer program) “Secondary” role in evaluations, family meetings, report generation
Minimum Education & Experience (Including Licenses) Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current and valid NJ state licensure or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
