Serve as an essential member of the school team providing health service delivery to students, overseeing health education, and medical management
Maintain student health files including physicals, vaccination and immunization records, annual emergency forms, and dental records
Supervise Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) and administer medications to students with proper documentation
Evaluate and assess children and adolescents during and after behavioral crises requiring restraints and/or therapeutic interventions
Work closely with and support The Children's Guild school psychiatrists
Write notes and reports in a timely manner including health suite visits
Provide professional development to staff in areas of expertise or on specific health plans for students

Candidates
Have:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
A minimum of three years post-training experience in the provision of nursing services in a school setting
Current license as a registered nurse to practice nursing in the state of Maryland without restriction by the Maryland Board of Nursing
Certified or eligible for certification in CPR/First Aid
