The instructor is responsible for the instruction and management of the medical assistant program, ensuring quality delivery of approved curriculum. Duties include fostering an inclusive learning environment, providing academic advising, and participating in departmental initiatives.
Candidates must be a Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN with BLS certification and at least two years of allied health experience. A degree in nursing and previous teaching experience in an academic setting are preferred.
$37,000 - $45,000 flsa: Exempt
Immediate supervisor: Allied Health Program Director
Schedule details: Full-time/12-month position/PSRS
The Instructor will be responsible for the instruction and management of the medical assistant program and will maintain professionalism within their specialized field, including currency and required certifications.
