Batten University invites applications for a part-time position in Fall 2026 to teach one or two in-person sections of ENG 105 The Art of Writing, a course focused on critical thinking, reading, rhetoric, and media literacy.

Preference will be given to candidates who have several years of experience teaching composition at the college level to a diverse population.

Master’s degree in English or a related field is required. Terminal degree preferred. Composition teaching experience is required. Ability to learn/use Blackboard Ultra, the University Learning Management System. Strong communication skills.
