The ECE Aide supports teachers in facilitating classroom learning and reinforcing instruction for first-grade students. Responsibilities include supervising students, leading small group instruction, and assisting with academic and social development.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with student achievement data and educational software, with Spanish fluency being a plus.

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Aide is responsible for working with teachers and students to help facilitate learning in the classroom. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with peers, teachers, and students, have a deep commitment to student achievement, and uphold Grow Academy school culture at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities: will include:
Assisting and reinforcing instruction in the classroom setting Supporting students in their development of academic subjects, communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, motor skills and recreational skills. Communicating with students using language appropriate to the student’s level of understanding. Demonstrate to students the manner in which tasks are performed. Assist teacher in supervising students both in and out of the classroom Supporting the teacher in a variety of duties including small group instruction, attending to students who need special attention, grading assignments, and other duties as assigned Attend regular Professional Development with GA Teachers Assist with parent conferences/home visits as needed Other related duties as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent required A.A. degree or equivalent preferred or coursework in Early Childhood Education Familiarity with student achievement data Knowledge of different educational software such as Accelerated Learner Experience working with ELL students a plus Prior experience in a child-care center is preferred Fluency in Spanish preferred
