Part-Time Reporting Functions: Reports to the Principal Job Summary: St. Ann's Catholic School is seeking a caring, organized, and dependable Part-Time School Nurse to join our school community for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. This position is approximately 25 hours per week and offers the opportunity to support the health and well-being of our students in a faith-filled educational environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Providing daily nursing care and first aid to students and staff. Managing student health records and medication administration. Communicating with parents regarding student health concerns. Monitoring immunization and medical compliance requirements. Supporting health and safety procedures throughout the school. Collaborating with school administration and faculty to promote student wellness. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal. Additional

Due to the nature and mission of the Catholic Church, all employees are bound to exhibit respect for the teachings and discipline of the Church regarding matters of faith and morals, including maintaining a lifestyle that is in conformity with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Educational Requirements: Previous pediatric, school nursing, or related experience required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Compassionate, professional, and student-centered approach. Other Requirements: The ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with students, parents, and school personnel. The ability to exercise professional judgment in making decisions. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. High degree of integrity, loyalty, and dependability, and have a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and with others. PRIOR TO STARTING EMPLOYMENT: Clear records of Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (PATCH), Pennsylvania Child Abuse History, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Background Fingerprint Check as required under Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Act 153 of 2014 (at least 1 year old.) As well as attendance at a Protecting God's Children class and Mandated Reporter Training. Physical Demands: Must have the ability to walk, reach with arms and hands, climb and balance; some carrying, pushing, and/or pulling may be involved; as well as some stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; exhibit manual dexterity to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard and dial a phone; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction. The employee may occasionally need to lift a child. Occasional personal and close contact with children is required. Regular contact with staff members, administration, and parents is required. Frequent contact with parents by phone and in person is necessary. The job is performed under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. Working Conditions: Normal school environment. Part-Time; approximately 25 hours a week. School operational hours are 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM; Monday through Friday. May be required to work beyond normal school hours to attend various meetings, school events, and retreats. Requirements
