The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, number of months worked, as well as internal equity among our team.

Job Summary

• The College of St.
• Scholastica is seeking to fill a baccalaureate faculty position preparing students for entry-level generalist practice.
• This is an eleven-month, tenure-track negotiable faculty position in the Department of Nursing with teaching responsibilities in the online hybrid post-baccalaureate nursing program at the College’s St.
• Cloud campus.
• This position has online and on-campus teaching responsibilities, student advising, scholarship, and college and community service expectations.
• Candidates will collaborate, contribute to, and participate in fostering a culture of inclusion in support of college diversity goals.

• Key Results/Responsibilities
• Synchronous online (didactic), on-campus for skills/simulation, and clinical teaching
• Student advising, scholarship, and service expectations
• Effectively collaborate with teaching, program, and department teams
• Effectively use multiple technology platforms (Brightspace, ExamSoft, DegreeWorks, etc)
• Communicate and interact effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff

• Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in nursing or a graduate degree in nursing in process
• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Minnesota
• Professional nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in teams
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and use multiple technology platforms
• Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency
• Demonstrated experience interacting effectively with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing
• Teaching experience
