Responsibilities

Implement Montessori curriculum and educational activities tailored to individual student needs. Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and staff. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, ensuring materials are accessible and well-organized. Encourage social and emotional development through guided interactions and conflict resolution. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress and school activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Montessori certification preferred. Experience working with children in a classroom setting, preferably in a Montessori environment. Strong understanding of child development and Montessori principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to different learning styles. Passion for nurturing children’s growth and fostering a love for learning. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus. Background check required prior to employment.
