Adjunct Instructor, Philosophy and Religion

The salary range for this position may vary based on the numbers of sections taught. Each Section taught can range from $5,000 - $5,500

Phillips Academy seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Philosophy and Religious Studies to teach two sections over our three trimesters that span from early September 2026 to June 2027. These two sections would include introductory-level (10th grade) sections of either ‘Proof and Persuasion’ or ‘Faith and Doubt’ throughout the year, and optionally senior electives depending on candidate interest and background. Master’s degree or Ph.D. in philosophy or religious studies preferred. At least three years’ teaching experience also preferred.
