Your Role

  • Growth: Observe, document, and celebrate each child’s development while tailoring lessons to individual needs, interests, and learning styles.

  • Compliance: Follow state licensing standards, conduct emergency drills, and complete necessary paperwork, including incident reports and daily logs.

  • Team: Mentor classroom assistants, maintain classroom procedures, and collaborate with the leadership team on continuous improvements.

  • Community: Create positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and children to support a warm, inclusive learning environment.

What You’ll Need

Education &

Experience: High School Diploma/GED +; CDA or higher preferred; Refer to state requirements for lead or assistant teacher qualifications

Certifications: CPR, First Aid (or willingness to obtain). A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a plus.
