The Goddard School of Doylestown (Farm Lane), PA·Doylestown, Pennsylvania
The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans for older toddlers. They must manage classroom dynamics, mentor assistant teachers, and maintain consistent communication with parents regarding child progress.
This is your classroom. Not someone else's plan you're executing. Yours to lead, shape, and own. We're looking for an experienced Lead Teacher who's ready to take real ownership of our younger toddler room and bring their own style of patience, creativity, and leadership to it.
You'll also lead people, not just children. As Lead Teacher, you'll directly supervise and mentor an Assistant Teacher, building your leadership experience while shaping someone else's growth in this field. If you've been waiting for a role that actually trusts you with responsibility, this is it.
You'll work Monday through Friday — no nights, no weekends, no holiday schedules. Your evenings and weekends are yours.
We're under new ownership and in the middle of a real transformation. Classrooms have been expanded and brightened, new lighting is in, and more upgrades are coming. And unlike a lot of childcare centers, our owner is on-site, engaged, and invested, not a name on a corporate letterhead somewhere else. You'll have real support, real visibility, and a real say in how your classroom runs.
We also offer a 401(k) with employer match — a benefit most childcare centers don't provide, and one more way we invest in your future, not just your paycheck.
We invest in our people. Lead Teachers who show initiative and leadership have a clear path toward broader classroom leadership and Director roles. We'll support your ambitions through mentorship, professional development, and ongoing training.
