The teacher will create a safe and engaging classroom environment using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to support early learning. They are also responsible for building relationships with families and ensuring compliance with state licensing and safety standards.
Candidates need at least 6 months of professional childcare experience and a high school diploma or GED. An associate degree in Early Childhood Education and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support early learning and development.
Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state licensing and safety standards.
At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
