Summary These courses include EMR, EMT, Paramedic, CPR, First Aid, Trauma Life Support (ITLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Adjunct Faculty are primarily responsible for instructing assigned courses meeting classroom standards. Adjunct Faculty must follow institutional syllabus. Additionally, Adjunct Faculty will be required to maintain office hours to best ensure student success. Adjunct Faculty teach on a part time basis up to 12 contact hours per semester. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities. EMT/EMS classes: 2 years' experience as an EMS provider. Current Illinois licensure as an EMS provider. ITLS, ACLS, PALS instructor certification.
Associate degree or higher in related field. Current IDPH Lead Instructor license. Experience working in higher education. Experience teaching or training.
