Provide quality academic assistance to student-athletes by communicating course content and providing study strategies. Maintain compliance with UAA, NCAA, and UF rules while serving as a positive role model.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, a GPA of 3.2 or higher, and a B+ or higher in the subject they intend to tutor. Candidates must be currently enrolled as a student or be a working professional in their field.

This is a part-time position with no associated benefits.

What is the pay? The pay level varies depending on experience, educational background and other factors.
How many hours per week will be required? Hours will vary depending on your time availability and student demands for your services.
What subjects can I tutor? Tutors may help students if they received a B+ or higher in the course (faculty recommendation can replace the B+ for engineering, math and science majors).
Can I tutor if I have another job on campus? Yes. The University Athletic Association is a separate entity from UF. You must complete UAA HR paperwork and attend a new tutor orientation even if you are a UF employee.
How will I be notified if I am considered for a tutoring position? You will be contacted via e-mail if your qualifications match with our current tutor needs.
If you do not hear from us, it means your skills are not needed for the current semester. There is no need to resubmit an application since all applications will be placed in a file for future consideration.
