The SLP provides in-person speech and language evaluations and therapy to students within a school setting. Responsibilities include developing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and Department of Education certification are preferred or required depending on the assignment.
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing in-person speech and language services to students within a school-based setting in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, district policies, and professional standards. Services may include evaluations, direct therapy, indirect therapy, consultations, documentation, participation in IEP meetings, and collaboration with school staff and families to support student communication needs and educational success.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks associated with school-based therapy services. Ability to use computers, teletherapy platforms, and related technology as required.
Work schedules shall follow the assigned School District calendar and operational needs. Services may include direct therapy, indirect services, evaluations, documentation, meetings, and other related professional responsibilities. Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available Paid Professional Development Days and Teacher Planning Days School District is open all year round; this position offers the availability to work during the summer. Various locations for work available including but not limited to: Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Shippensburg, Carlisle Compensation W2 Employee or 1099 Contractor Options Available Hourly Rate Range: $67.00 - $80.00
