The teacher is responsible for delivering standards-aligned, data-driven instruction to promote measurable student growth in a K-5 setting. They must also manage classroom culture and maintain regular communication with parents and administrators regarding student progress.
A bachelor's degree and a valid Michigan teaching certificate with an elementary endorsement are required. Candidates may also qualify through the GEE Career Advancement Program and must pass a criminal background check.

Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Work environment includes elevated noise levels.
