The instructor is responsible for planning and delivering educational services to nursing students through various instructional methods. Key duties include facilitating classroom engagement, providing one-on-one student support, and conducting assessments.
Candidates must hold at least a Master's degree in Nursing and a current unrestricted State of Florida RN or APRN license. A minimum of two years of full-time nursing practice is required, with teaching experience preferred.
Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through: Planning and organizing instructional methods and resources Programmatic accreditation (if applicable) Facilitating student engagement in the classroom/learning environment Working one-on-one with students Assessing students and providing developmental feedback EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing. Doctorate Degree in Nursing is preferred. Current unrestricted State of Florida RN License or APRN license Full time nursing practice, minimum 2 years Full time teaching experience, minimum 2 years preferred Experience with learning outcomes assessments preferred This is a part time position that requires schedule flexibility: Must be fully available to teach both day and evening classes based on campus needs
