The instructor implements active treatment programs and lesson plans to promote independence and skill building for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include authoring goals, coordinating community outings, and conducting vocational assessments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years old. One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience
One year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or mental health.
This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional flex hours, evening and/or weekend work may be required.
This position requires less than 5% travel. Travel will include traveling between Hazelwood Center, and outlying community homes.
