The Special Education Teacher provides individualized instruction and support for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Key duties include implementing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining compliance records per MDE standards.
A bachelor's degree and a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a special education endorsement are required. Candidates may also qualify through the GEE Career Advancement Program (CAP) and must pass a criminal background check.
