Assist in the education and daily programming of Head Start or Early Head Start classrooms while ensuring a safe environment for children. Support child assessments, screenings, and the implementation of educational experiences that foster self-worth and language skills.

Preferred: (2)years related experience in the preschool classroom setting.
1. Must be able to serve and effectively communicate, to the extent feasible, with children and families with no or limited English proficiency. 2. Working knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic. 3. Computer literate. 4. Ability to work effectively without extensive supervision. 5. Ability to operate all office machinery. 6. Ability to function with diplomacy and tact. 7. Handle all student information with utmost confidentiality. 8. Report suspected child abuse/neglect to administrator and law enforcement agency. 9. Abide by all Innovative Network of Knowledge policies and procedures. 10. Abide by DFPS and OHS regulations and standards. 11. Ability to work as a team player. 12. Must have reliable transportation. 13. Possess a valid driver’s license. 14. Complete and pass health examination. 15. Confirm work eligibility status. 16. Successfully pass driving history check 17. Clear criminal background check 18. Required to lift up to 60 pounds. 19. Required to stand, sit on the floor, bend, squat, kneel, lift children, and engage with children.
