The teacher will serve as a long-term substitute in the elementary department, covering a leave of absence. Responsibilities include providing academic instruction and fostering the spiritual growth of students according to biblical principles.

This teacher will teach in Elementary as a Long-Term Sub covering a leave of absence.
Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith. Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship. Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and biblical worldview perspectives to their students’ lives. A demonstrated knowledge of reading, phonics and math instruction and a clear pedagogical understanding of how to teach these concepts at an age-appropriate level. Can articulate and share examples of clear, consistent, and effective classroom management techniques. Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students. BA degree required in any field.
