What is needed for this job: Minimum 16 years of age Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area - Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, and more!
Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.
Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability The responsibilities we will trust you with: Run on-site instruction for youth sports leagues including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport Coach youth flag football, soccer, basketball teams in practices & games Officiate youth flag football games via NFL Flag rules, youth soccer via MLS Soccer rules, and basketball games depending on the season Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport Set up class 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time to ensure classes begin on time Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs Take attendance to ensure participants are enrolled in class Lead teams with positivity & enthusiasm Provide excellent service to members and participants What you can expect: Support from an amazing team which includes training you on expectations Opportunities to learn and grow Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger Great members to work with every day!
