What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor: Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Communicate student progress with parents and guardians Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes What we are looking for in a Math Instructor / Tutor: Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
