Coaches are responsible for teaching fundamental and advanced volleyball techniques while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. They must manage practices, games, and ensure compliance with school and league regulations.
Prior coaching experience at the high school or club level is preferred. Candidates must be available for after-school and weekend commitments and be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certifications.
Teach fundamental and advanced techniques and strategies. Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture. Ensure compliance with school, league, and state athletic regulations. Communicate regularly with student-athletes, families, and school staff. Promote academic accountability and good citizenship among team members. Oversee team equipment and uniforms. Attend league meetings, trainings, and required school events.
Prior coaching experience (high school or higher level preferred). Knowledge of sport rules, techniques, and training methods. Ability to positively motivate and manage high school athletes. CPR/First Aid and Concussion Certification (or willingness to obtain). Background check clearance required. Must be available for practices after school and for weekday/weekend games.
