Description SANY's Utica Academy of Science Charter School is excited to announce an opening for a Physical Education and Health Education Teacher (Grades 6-12) for our Junior Senior High School for the 2026/27 School Year.
We are looking for dynamic, collaborative, flexible, and engaging educators.

Must be New York State Certified.
We need Teachers who will: Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum; which is designed to meet the state's core educational standards.
Possess a strong understanding of Common Core standards and state learning standards.
Have the ability to modify/redesign/develop curriculum as needed.
Collaborate with staff to determine the charter's requirement for the instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
Be ready to prepare students for the standardized tests relevant to the content area.
Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy.
