About the role

Prepare and assist in the CVOR suite for cardiovascular procedures while monitoring patient status and supporting the surgical team. Maintain sterile techniques, document intraoperative data, and adhere to school health policy standards.

Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech, travel assignment in a school-based setting in Lacey, WA. Start date: 09/03/2026. Contract through 06/17/2027 (start 9/3/26). 32.5 billable hours per week (Mon–Fri, 6.5 hours per day). Weekly pay range: $1,067–$1,106.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist in the CVOR suite for cardiovascular procedures under the surgical team’s direction.
  • Monitor patient status and provide support to the surgical team during CVOR cases.
  • Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, and efficient room turnover between cases.
  • Document intraoperative data and post-procedure notes in applicable records.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and school health policy standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team and school health staff to ensure patient safety and workflow.

Requirements

  • Resume required for educational submissions.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to fulfill the Mon–Fri, 6.5-hour daily schedule.
  • Willingness to work in a school-based setting (K–12) on a travel assignment.
  • Compliance with assignment-specific requirements as outlined in the job notes.
