Job DescriptionMake continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teachingDemonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learningAssist with reviewing and revising of syllabus for specific course within the program and instructional guidelinesSubmit required program reports and forms to Director of the program in a timely mannerKeep current with new technologies and safety regulationsMaintains student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms and assist with program data collection that meet set due dates and deadlinesAssists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations and educational requirementsTeach courses at a variety of times and locations in responds to program needsTeaches both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, and/or evenings, on week days and/or weekends)Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updatesActively participates in committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as priorityPay RangeThe hourly pay range for this position is $48.00 (minimum), $54.00 (midpoint), and $60.00 (maximum).**Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range.
Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.QualificationsTo be considered for the position, you must meet the requirements set by the board of nursing below:Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state in which you are applying to teachYou must meet one of the following requirements set by the board of vocational nursing: 3 years bedside experience with RN/BSN OR6 years bedside experience with LVN/Associates DegreePreferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification or ACLSAdditional InformationWe Offer:Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.
