The Teacher Assistant is responsible for providing care and educational activities for children while maintaining a clean and orderly classroom. They must build rapport with parents and keep them informed about their child's progress and needs.
Candidates must be high school graduates with at least six months of relevant experience or equivalent credentials. CPR certification is required within three months of hire, along with annual in-service training.

Six (6) months experience or education or credentials that are considered equivalent. CPR certification must be completed within the first three (3) months of employment. Ten (10) hours of educational in-service training must be completed annually.
Knowledge of the developmental growing stages of children including potty training and or changing a wet or soiled diaper. Knowledge of setting up a desired program to meet the needs of children; creating a daily lesson plan concurrent with different learning styles. Ability to communicate with parents, co-workers, medical staff through oral and written communication. Ability to accept direction, adhere to policies and procedures, work as a team player, and to react calmly and effectively in an emergency and stressful situation.

The Teacher is responsible for the care of the children, for keeping the classroom clean and in an orderly fashion. Evaluates the needs of the children and provides educational activities and theme units appropriately. Builds a rapport with the parent maintaining general information on each child and informs the parent of any needs and or accomplishments.
This will be for a closer, hours may vary, but will need availability Monday to Friday from 2:00p.m. - 7:30p.m.
