The Assistant Teacher supports children in kindergarten through 5th grade with program activities and skill development. They are responsible for ensuring daily care according to OCFS and YMCA standards while implementing engaging learning experiences.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience working with children. Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training to be completed after hire.
