The Substitute Teacher is responsible for planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process for students within the framework of the school's Catholic philosophy. They must maintain a positive learning atmosphere and manage classroom discipline while communicating effectively with parents and staff.
A bachelor's degree and experience working with elementary-aged students are preferred. Candidates must meet the minimum teaching requirements set by the Diocese and TCCED and demonstrate knowledge of Catholic Church teachings.

The Substitute Teacher fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students in the Catholic school for whom the teacher is responsible within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The SubstituteTeacher provides the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth toward a successful future. The Teacher has decision making responsibilities within essential job functions, in keeping with school policies.

Occasional, on-site. Hours align with school operating hours and may include additional responsibilities such as faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
