Market context

Texas school counselor roles stay competitive

Texas school counselor openings are often driven by student support needs in elementary and middle school settings, especially where SEL and academic guidance are priorities. These roles are competitive because districts typically look for a master’s degree, relevant student-facing experience, and preferred counseling certification or licensure. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save time, then tailor your application to highlight school-based counseling and SEL experience.
