The Role We're looking for an Assistant Teacher to join the team at our Maricopa campus.
As an AT, you'll work as a para-professional alongside our two lead teachers, supporting students throughout the school day in a close-knit, dynamic learning environment.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role.
You won't be grading worksheets in the back of the room — you'll be in the thick of it, helping students work through real projects, navigate challenges, and build the skills they'll carry far beyond middle school. \n
\n $35,000 - $40,000 a year What You'll Do Support lead teachers throughout the school day across instructional and non-instructional activities Work directly with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning Help facilitate project-based learning activities and keep students on track Build genuine relationships with students and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented campus culture Assist with classroom logistics, transitions, and day-to-day campus operations Collaborate closely with the teaching team to support student success What We're Looking For A genuine love for working with middle schoolers (grades 3–8) Patience, flexibility, and a growth mindset — this is not a traditional school setting Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds Reliability and a team-first attitude; our small campuses depend on every person showing up Prior experience working with children or youth in any capacity is a plus A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework in education or a related field preferred The Details Location: Maricopa, AZ Compensation: $35,000–$40,000 annually Contract: 12-month full-time contract Schedule: This is not a traditional school schedule — we do not follow a standard academic calendar with full summers off.
