About the role

The Group Leader assists the Site Coordinator in designing and implementing after-school program activities. They provide educational support and supervision to ensure the safety and security of participants.

Position Overview

The Group Leader will work as part of the P.R.I.M.E. Leaders After school Program by assisting the Site Coordinator in the implementation, design, and evaluation of all after-school program activities. The Group Leader will provide social and educational support and supervision of program participants while ensuring their safety and security. The Group Leader will help students prepare for projects geared toward community issues as well as special presentations related to their clubs.

Position Qualifications

  • High School Degree or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Relevant work experience with children or adolescents.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, and meticulous organizational skills.
  • Ability to write clear, concise and accurate reports.
  • Possess excellent organizational, verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Have a demonstrated interest or education in youth development.

Hours: Afterschool 2:00pm -6:00pm

Requirements
