Teacher Assistant

• People Incorporated of Virginia is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Early Head Start Teacher Assistant for the Child and Family Development program at our Frederick County center.
• Position provides support to classroom teachers in direct educational instruction with a focus on individualization ; communicates and collaborates with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of children; assists with conducting child health assessments and conducts regular data entry and completes documentation.
• A minimum of three months classroom experience working with children required.
• A high school diploma/GED is required as well as a valid driver's license; excellent driving record and reliable driving record and reliable transportation also required.
• CDA required within two years of hire.
