Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for children. Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with families and educators to integrate communication goals into daily routines.

For more than 34 years, Therapy Care has provided exceptional support, resources, and mentorship to new and experienced clinicians, empowering them to deliver outstanding services to the children and families they serve.

Our comprehensive clinical fellowship program is designed to help new graduates build confidence, develop clinical expertise, and transition successfully into independent practice.

Experienced clinicians will be paired with another experienced clinician to collaborate on patient care, counseling families, and evidence-based research.

For new and experienced clinicians, we offer monthly collaborative meetings with other clinicians in your same setting (e.g., school, early intervention), quarterly collaborative and social dinners with Therapy Care clinicians, a very large lending library, in-house continuing education, and access to collaboration with an experienced SLP at any time.

You decide if you want to work full-time at a school or early intervention.

You can also split your time between school and early intervention.

In addition, we offer part-time options.

For experienced clinicians, we offer the opportunity to do disability evaluations under social security.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility to obtain licensure Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to collaboration, lifelong learning, and evidence-based practice Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of child's speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on assessment findings Provide direct speech-language therapy services to children with a variety of communication needs using various therapy approaches (e.g., play-based). Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support a child’s success Integrate communication goals into educational programming, classroom activities, daily routines Educate and support students, families, and caregivers regarding communication development and intervention strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, treatment plans, and service records Compensation is available up to $60 per hour, based on experience, setting, and client placement. Requirements

Requires a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program. Candidates must hold or be eligible for Illinois Speech-Language Pathology and Professional Educator licenses.
